Privacy notice
This notice covers the agently.mx website and the early-access waitlist. A full privacy policy covering accounts and the product will replace it before the Service opens to customers.
Who we are
Agently.mx, an Ontario corporation, is responsible for the personal information described here. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Our privacy officer can be reached at [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Waitlist. When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the time you signed up, which form you used, and the country your request came from, as reported by our network provider. We use it to invite you to the Service and to send a small number of updates about access. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or rent it.
- Email to us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so that we can reply.
- Technical data. Our network provider processes IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Consent and unsubscribing
By joining the waitlist you consent to us emailing you about access to agently.mx. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also write to [email protected]. We act on requests within 10 business days.
Where it is stored and who processes it
The site and the waitlist run on Cloudflare, which may process and store data in Canada, the United States and other countries where it operates. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser loads them. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until you are invited and create an account, until you ask us to remove you, or for 24 months after you sign up, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We limit access to waitlist data to the people who need it and protect it with the safeguards of our hosting provider. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as PIPEDA requires.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date, and email waitlist members about significant ones.
